  • Free assessment and quote - our home energy experts advise on options available and those best suited for your home and budget.

  • Expert advice - knowing what to do first to make your home more energy efficient can be complicated. With us, you have access to personalised advice you can trust from our qualified home performance specialists

  • Full supply and install service - our professional and experienced team will ensure the installation meets our high standards. After 20 years installing products in homes, we have seen it all.

  • Heat escapes through the roof and walls of any building, and out of any gaps, tears or areas missing insulation. Heat loss increases dramatically when the temperature outside is lower than inside, as heat is drawn to cold areas. Good insulation makes homes more energy-efficient, comfortable and healthy. It makes homes easier and cheaper to heat, and adds lasting value to properties.

  • Insulation degrades over time, especially insulation that is more than ten years old. Old insulation usually needs a fix-up, top-up or full replacement. Many homes in New Zealand are not insulated or not insulated properly, for reasons ranging from pre-insulation building construction, low building code standards, poor quality materials or misunderstandings of building science.

  • Insulation can be complicated. There are different materials, features and benefits on the market, and no one-size-fits-all We recommend that ceiling and underfloor insulation be installed professionally.

  • We’re part of a the Community Energy Network (CEN) a group of organisations dedicated to delivering effective energy-efficient solutions for warmer homes, job creation and healthier communities.

  • As a partner of the Warmer Kiwi Homes programme, we can offer subsidies on insulation for eligible households across the Wellington region.

    Through us, low-income homeowners can get subsidies covering the totality of the cost of ceiling insulation, underfloor insulation, ground vapour barrier supply and install.

    The criteria to be able to access this funding is as follows:

    The homeowner needs to live in the home which was built before 2008.

    The homeowner needs to have a Community Services Card OR live in a low-income area.

    This funding is available for homeowner-occupiers in Wellington City, Porirua, Kapiti Coast and Upper and Lower Hutt.
