Pricing:

Rates & not-for-profit (NFP) ‘mates’ rates for hiring out the Te Aro Zero Waste centre.

Prices exclude GST

  • Standard rate - $100 per hour

  • Standard day rate (max capacity of 30) - $80 per hour

  • NFP organisation standard rate - $60 per hour

  • NFP organisation day rate (max capacity of 30) - $50 per hour

Capacity:

100 people standing or 50 people seated (only due to number of chairs, tables available) – capacity is closer to 80 seated

We also have Karaka - our board room available for hire - $20 per hour (10 people max) 

Note: the venue is not available for parties.

What’s included in the hire:

  • Tea & coffee cups

  • Cutlery, plates, bowls

  • Domestic sized oven

  • Microwave

  • Hot water urn

  • Small fridge space available on request

  • Mobile digital screen + microphone

  • 50 x chairs

  • 9 x trestle tables

  • 50 x water glasses

  • 2 x water jugs

Note - There is a cleaners fee of $115 + a $500 Bond. Both are dependent on the event

Extras:

  • Wireless data projector - $15                                 

    • Please bring your own laptop, needs a HDMI input (Apples will need a converter)

    • We advise for you to please test your laptop & projector before the event date as there is no tech support during events

  • PA, microphone & speakers - $60 

  • Set-up and pack-down of tables, chairs etc - by arrangement

  • Cleaners’ fee - $115

    • Instances where this does not need to be applied: small meeting and attendees, no food & drinks etc.  Case dependent.
