Ducted heat pumps use the same inverter technology that traditional heat pumps use, meaning considerably lower running costs for energy input.
The supplied air is distributed balanced and evenly throughout the home, where it makes its way back to a central return grille, generally in a hall or service area.
From here the air is returned to the system, filtered and topped up with additional heat (or less if cooling) before being redistributed through the home. Optional fresh air intakes can be added to systems.
